At our latest board meeting, Chief Daryl mentioned a safety-related program that Senior Services of Midland provides for residents of Midland County. We wanted to pass the information along to inform the community. Senior Services has a Handyman program for 60 and over. They can make important modifications such as:
- Securing slip hazards, stairs, and handrails
- Installing grab bars, raised toilet seats, and anti-slip surfaces in bathrooms
- Installing smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors
- Other safety-related repairs and tasks
